These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed via the online shop of Sattlerei Maierhofer (Philipp Maierhofer, Königbauerstraße 2, 84166 Adlkofen, Germany).

Deviating terms and conditions of the buyer are not recognised unless we expressly agree to their validity in writing.

The purchase contract is concluded with Philipp Maierhofer, Sattlerei Maierhofer, Königbauerstraße 2, 84166 Adlkofen, Germany.

The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to order. By clicking the order button, you place a binding order for the goods in your shopping cart. Confirmation of receipt of your order is sent immediately after submission. The purchase contract is concluded when we accept your order by a separate order confirmation email or by dispatching the goods.

The stated prices are final prices. As a small business owner within the meaning of § 19(1) UStG (German VAT Act), no VAT is charged or shown.

Payment is processed via the payment service provider Mollie B.V. (Keizersgracht 126, 1015 CW Amsterdam, Netherlands). Available payment methods are those offered by Mollie (e.g. credit card, SEPA direct debit, instant bank transfer). Payment is debited immediately upon completion of the order.

We deliver within Germany and to selected European countries. Shipping costs are shown during the ordering process and are to be borne by the buyer, unless otherwise stated.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, delivery time is 3–10 working days after receipt of payment. As these are handcrafted individual pieces, delivery times may vary. We will inform you by email of any significant delays.

As a consumer, you have a right of withdrawal. Please refer to our separate Withdrawal Policy for details.

The delivered goods remain our property until full payment has been received.

The statutory warranty rights apply. The warranty period for new goods is two years from delivery.

For handcrafted individual pieces, minor deviations from product photos (e.g. colour nuances, grain patterns) are inherent to the material and do not constitute a defect.

Claims for damages are excluded unless otherwise stated below. This also applies to our representatives and agents if claims for damages are made against them.

Claims for damages due to injury to life, body or health, breach of essential contractual obligations, and liability for other damages based on intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty are not excluded.

We are not willing or obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

Pursuant to § 19(1) UStG (German VAT Act), no VAT is charged. Accordingly, no VAT is shown on invoices.

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Sales Convention. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which the consumer has their habitual residence remain unaffected.

The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from contracts with merchants is Landshut, Germany.
